NEW AIRPORTS BLOOMING
A new international airport to replace the existing Phnom Penh International Airport will be constructed on partially reclaimed land adjacent to Boueng Cheung Loung, a large lake in Kandal province about 30 kilometers south of Phnom Penh, for the $1.5 billion project. (Source Phnom Penh Post)
About Siem Reap International Airport, the new airport will be built over 700 hectares of land in Sotr Nikom district, about 50km outside Siem Reap city. Construction of the new airport will start in early 2018, according to Sin Chansereyvutha, a spokesman for Cambodia’s State Secretariat for Civil Aviation. (Source Khmer Times).
These 2 new airports will allow big aircraft to land directly from worldwide in the Kingdom of Wonders.
Sihanoukville International Airport also will be upgraded to receive more passengers.

NEW HOTELS POPPING UP IN PHNOM PENH

In Siem Reap, Pou Restaurant main topic is Countryside food re-imagined as "haute cuisine" in Siem Reap. What he means is that the recipes aren’t created purely from his imagination but are rooted in countryside cooking.
Anantara Angkor dinning experience by the Chief Kean is something to not miss if you are staying in Angkor City a friday.
For Phnom Penh, there is Khéma La Poste which just opened a few months ago. It belongs to Thalias Group (Malis & Topaze restaurants) and is already one of our favorite tables in Phnom Penh in terms of French cuisine.

NEW ACTIVITIES
Siem Reap has not only new hotels to feature, there is also a new amazing performance to assist called Angkor Dynasty… Sarah Liang, director of sales at the Angkor Dynasty project said: “There development will hold theatre shows, a water park, commercial areas, restaurants and Cambodian folk culture on 1.5 hectares of land.” (From The Phnom Penh Post)
As well, The Heritage Walk is a unique entertainment complex designed by Five Arc Architect using the Khmer cultural concepts, which consists of modern coffee shops, cinemas, restaurants, and souvenir shops. It is estimated to be finished by 2018. It will be the biggest mall located in the heart of Siem Reap City.
In Phnom Penh, a new cabaret was just lanched. Truly exceptional and beyond sensational, the Sabay Sabay (means “Happy Happy” in Khmer) Cabaret Show is a highly-entertaining spectacle that is sure to leave its audience breathless and genuinely captivated. There are many ways to come to Cambodia from Europe and other countries far abroad. However, most people are still coming from Bangkok or Singapore hubs to land into Cambodia.
